The TURCK Luftschifflauf starts on the apron of Essen/Mülheim Airport and leads you via the taxiway directly onto the broad start and landing runway. Where airplanes normally roll, a flat, fast course awaits you without tight turns or elevation changes – perfect conditions for personal bests or a unique running experience. After the first fast meters on the tarmac, the route continues over the extensive airport grounds. But the true highlight awaits at the end: The finish line inside the impressive WDL airship hangar, whose imposing architecture offers you the spectacular conclusion to an unforgettable run.
