Trippy Trail
The Trippy Trail is a fixed-route, unsupported, single-stage trail running expedition with 50 km and 100 km courses starting and finishing at Nigerpass. The route crosses the highest ranges of the Italian Dolomites, stitching together remote ridgelines, empty valleys and places most people will never reach. Expect long stretches above treeline, technical trails, exposed sections and honest hike-a-run.
In sharp contrast to the terrain's severity, carefully chosen Rifugios open their doors as checkpoints offering hospitality, food, drinks and shelter.
Distances
We're starting with two routes: 100 km and 50 km. A 200 km expedition route is in the works for 2027.
- Classic: 50 km | 3,600m elevation gain, 64% unpaved, 4% paved, 32% alpine. Difficulty 9/10.
- Adventure: 100 km | 6,300m elevation gain, 70% unpaved, 3% paved, 27% alpine. Difficulty 10/10.
