Tour de Kernow 300km – this route will be suitable for road bikes. Starting from Wheal Jane at 4am, the route will take you through St Ives, Lands End, Penzance, Helston, Gweek, Penryn, King Harry Ferry, Goran Haven, St Austell, Bodmin, Padstow, Mawgan Porth, Ladock, Shortlanesend, Threemilestone, and back to Wheal Jane. The event covers 187 miles / 300 km with 12,775 feet of climbing. Riders are expected to complete the ride within 20 hours.
Event Details
Minimum age for the half distance event will be 12 years. All Under 18’s will need a parental consent form (signed on the day of the event) and under 16’s will need to ride with an accompanying adult/parent. The event HQ will only be manned at the start of the day, then midday and again at the end of the day.
