Timberman Triathlon
Minnesota’s Premier Destination Triathlon Race Venue: Sugar Lake Lodge, Cohasset, MN
The swim is in the crystal clear, clean, turquoise waters of Sugar Lake. The bike is of rustic beauty using rural, county roads, most of which are newly paved. The relatively flat run course takes you through the resort and out and back on pavement with some gravel (Olympic course) to the finish line.
Race Distances
- Olympic: 1 mile swim (1760 yards), 25 mile bike, 6 mile run
- Sprint: 1/3 mile (587 yards) swim, 11 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Super Sprint: .15 mile swim (264 yards), 5.5 mile bike 1.5 mile run
Teams (2 or 3 person) can participate in the Olympic and Sprint races. The Super Sprint race is for individuals only.
Timing: Timing is conducted by Pickle Events. The event is chip timed and full split results will be posted on the Pickle Events website, www.pickleevents.com
Awards
- Olympic and Sprint Race Individuals: Awards are given to 1st-3rd places in all age groups.
- Olympic and Sprint Race Teams: Each person (2 or 3 people) on the first place team in the men’s, women’s, and coed divisions will receive first place awards.
- Super Sprint: The top-5 overall male and female will be awarded a medal.
USAT Sanctioned: The Timberman Triathlon is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT). A one-day license or annual membership is required.
