Timber24 Relay
Timber24 is a 24-hour team trail running festival held at Hardwood Ski and Bike in Oro Medonte, near Barrie, Ontario, on August 22-23, 2026. The event uses a relay format: teams of 8, 4, 2 or 1 (solo) cover a collective distance of 192 km, with one runner starting an 8 km lap each hour for 24 hours.
On-site facilities include a tent village where teams set up beginning Friday afternoon, a physio/massage village offering 15-minute treatments from RMTs and physiotherapists with in-person sign-up, and a retail and expo area open throughout the event. Food and beverage service is available 24 hours on site. Social and spectator elements include backyard games, outdoor movies, campfires, and a beer garden open Saturday evening and after the race. The Vibe
- Tent Village: Teams will move in beginning Friday afternoon and set up their space. Bonus points for decorating.
- Physio/Massage Village: Physio/Massage village. Get 15 minute treatment from an RMT or Physiotherapist to keep yourself in top shape. Services will be available from 2pm-10pm on Saturday Aug 24 and 8am-12pm on Aug 25. Sign up for your time slot in person.
- Food: Free coffee/hot chocolate in the mornings. 24 hour food service on-site.
- Retail: The retail store is open for the duration of the event. Essentials and SWAG items are available for purchase.
- Beer Garden: The Timber24 Beer Garden will be open Saturday evening and post race.
- Playtime: Backyard games and movie night
