The Wolds Farm Loop - 6 Hours
The Wolds Farm Loop is a six hour looped trail running event held in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route is an approximate 5.45 km loop with about 71 metres of elevation per lap. Participants may complete as many laps as they choose within the six hour timeframe.
The course combines rolling open fields, off-road farm tracks, quiet stretches of tarmac, and sections of ancient woodland valleys. A single aid station is located at the start and finish area and is stocked primarily with real food such as jelly babies, fudge, cake, and cheese straws. Gels and similar products are not supplied, but participants may leave clearly labelled personal food at the aid station.
Practical arrangements include limited parking at two nearby locations approximately 200 m and 400 m from the venue, and a bag drop area provided under shelter. Organisers cannot continuously supervise personal belongings and recommend leaving valuables in a vehicle. Registration and bib collection take place at the start line area; exact times are provided by the organiser. Dogs are not permitted due to permit and insurance restrictions. Finishers who complete at least one lap receive a custom event medal and a goody bag.
