The WMD Triathlon - Weymouth, 14 June 2026
The WMD Triathlon is a multi-distance event organised by Bustinskin Triathlon Club at Weymouth College. It takes place on Sunday 14 June 2026 and runs Sprint, Classic (standard) and Middle distance races within a single event framework and safety plan.
Distances
- Sprint: suitable for first-time triathletes or athletes seeking a faster race.
- Classic (Standard): popular with club athletes and regular racers.
- Middle: a longer distance with full course support and managed cut-offs.
The event includes an open-water sea swim with safety cover, rolling bike routes on Dorset roads, and multi-lap run routes with regular aid provision. Race HQ at Weymouth College provides space and facilities, chip timing is used, and official finishers receive a medal. Courses are marked and marshalled and visible safety and medical cover is provided; the Race Brief contains final instructions and cut-off details and forms part of the event rules.
Registration and racking take place on race morning only and all race materials are collected at registration; late registration is not accepted. Parking is available at Lodmoor Car Park (pay and display). Accommodation is available across Weymouth and limited on-site camping may be possible. Entries are capped across all distances and may close early once limits are reached. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
