The Witches Whisk
The Witches Whisk is a race within a Halloween series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye. Entrants choose a target distance and must complete their chosen distance within a seven hour time limit. The route lies entirely within the manor grounds and is offroad. Each lap measures 2.5k and the course includes a hill on each lap plus a series of up and downs through two vineyards. The organiser notes the course is very tough. The event is suitable for walkers and runners.

Entry options include in-person race places and virtual entries. Paid virtual and race entries are eligible for medals once a run has been verified. Free virtual participation can be recorded on the results list but does not include a medal. Race bibs are collected at registration and virtual bibs are emailed after entry. Entry fees are non refundable and entrants must be aged 18 or over. A lower cost charity entry option is available subject to a minimum fundraising commitment. Event Information

- You have 7 hours to complete your chosen run distance
- Each Lap is 2.5k in distance.
- Suitable for walkers and runners.
- The course is offroad, all within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and very tough. But hey, tough is fun! There is a bit of a hill, which will be run on each lap, and a series of up and downs through two vineyards.
- You chose your distance - each day has the option of a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon or Ultra.
Virtual Bibs: Once you have entered the event, we will email you a personalised virtual Bib as a keepsake. It may take a day or two to receive the virtual Bib, but it should be with you before the event date starts.
Free virtual participation: Run the virtual event for FREE - you won't receive a medal but you will be recorded on the results list. Simply join our Strava group (Every Mile Counts) for FREE and enter The Witches Whisk Event.

- Virtual UK Entry – £25.00
- Virtual Overseas Entry - £39.00
CHARITY OPTION: You can enter any combination of days for a total £10.00 entry fee plus booking charges, which will confirm your entry either as a race competitor or as a virtual runner and you receive your medal/medals on completion. But this is on the basis that you commit to raising a minimum of twice the entry fee value for our nominated charity to make your entry valid. If you choose the charity option, enter through our entry system as normal, but only select the charity option for £10.00.
The Medals: Each day has a unique medal – all themed around spooky ghosts, witches and Halloween. Depending on availability, medals may be provided in either green or orange.
