The Treggy 7
The Treggy 7 is a circular road race of 7 miles that starts in Launceston Town Square with registration taking place beforehand in the Town Hall. The course finishes in the grounds of Launceston Castle.
The route leaves town downhill for the first mile and continues on undulating rural roads. A water station is located at approximately 3.5 miles adjacent to Tregadillett Primary School, following a half mile climb into the village. After leaving the village at 4 miles, the final three miles are mainly downhill with a second water station at about 5.5 miles and the finish in the castle grounds.
Facilities include toilets in the Town Hall, the Multi Storey Car Park and the Castle Grounds. Cakes and hot drinks are available in the Town Hall before and after the event. Awards are presented in the Town Hall after the race. A bag drop will be offered with details to be confirmed.
The event is organised by Launceston Road Runners. The minimum age for entry is 16 or older.
