The race will start at Sawtry Village Academy (PE28 5TQ) and loop round the quiet, gently undulating country roads passing Hamerton Zoo and Aversley and Archers Woods before heading back to finish the loop at SVA.Entries
Entries are live with the first 100 with an early bird rate of affiliated £19 and unaffiliated £21 which were last years prices. Early bird entries will end once all 100 have been sold. Book early so as to not miss out. Once all early bird places have gone the prices will change. There will be no entries available on the day, when entries are closed, they are closed. Where is the race?
The race headquarters is at Sawtry Village Academy, Fen Lane, Sawtry, Huntingdon Cambridgeshire PE28 5TQ (Entrance ///What3words: ///galloped.tummy.badge). The race starts on the school field at 10am. There will be a safety briefing at around 9.50am.
Where can I park?
The school car park will be closed as runners will be leaving and returning from that car park entrance. Please do not park in the village. A grassed car park off Bill Hall Way on the edge of the village (///What3words address is ///magazine.insects.plump). It is easy to find and it will be marshalled. The car park will open from just after 8am. Please allow 10 minutes to walk from the car park to the school.
Directions to the school.
Exit the car park and turn left, follow the road as it turns left and you’ll see a round about. straight over the round about, keep going and you’ll eventually turn left again into the school.
Disabled parking is available in the Old School Hall car park on Green End Road ///What3words: ///riverside.stacks.simply. If you are not disabled, please do not use this car park as it will be used by those working and attending Sawtry Academy Leisure who kindly allow us to invade their space and that of the adjoining school for our Race HQ.
We encourage runners to car share and to arrive in plenty of time.
When will I get my race bib?
You will receive an email with your race number in the week leading up to the race.
You can collect your race number from Ferry Meadows park run from 8:15 to 9am.
On race day, collection will be from the race HQ (which will be signposted) from 8.30am. Please allow plenty of time in order to register, drop your bag off and warm up.
