The Mammoth offers a unique and challenging course that showcases the beauty of the Eastern Sierra. Runners will encounter pristine alpine lakes, historical mines, and stunning vistas of the Glass Mountains.
Course Description
This breathtaking loop connects small mountain communities and encircles a 760,000-year-old caldera. Runners will traverse various terrains including high desert, volcanic rock landscapes, and the largest Jeffrey pine forest in the world, culminating with views from Mammoth Mountain.
Event Schedule
- September 25: Mandatory Race Check-in (12-6 PM) in Village Plaza
- September 26: Race Start (6 AM) with coffee provided at the start line
- September 30: Race Ends with an award ceremony at 6 PM
Prize Money
Total prize money of $5,000 for first place female and male, $3,000 for second, and $2,000 for third.

Before the event, we will require clearance from the Forest Service. Ensure you have your Spot Tracker to participate in the race.
