The Equalizer Groad Gravel Race rolls out in 2025, Saturday morning, July 26th from Marthasville Mo! NOTE: RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE! REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 8PM ON FRIDAY JULY 25TH! (so sign up now!) The Equalizer is many things! Its the regular and awesome 50k or 100k Equalizer, its also the Finalie Event to the SHO ME MO' GRVL SERIES, A qualifier on the SBR GRAND PRIX. and its The Missouri State Championship race for gravel. This is a must do race for 2025! Event includes: Friday camping and food at the Katy Caboose. Race Saturday morning, BBQ dinner Saturday afternoon, awards, raffle, music, bring your friends and make a weekend of it. Free onsite camping in Wessel Park and the KT Caboose Friday and Saturday night.⛺ Showers and bathrooms available across the street at the Ballfields and at the KT Caboose.🚿 😍 The 50K sees some new gravel and roads this year and will join the 100k through the full classic Equalizer loop through Warrenton and all of the most awesome and refreshing creek crossings from last year. The 50K this year is XL and is really 43 miles. (we like to use K because its cool) Choose either the 50k or 100k climbing 1800' and 3786' of up downs.. The 50 and 100 will stay together until mile 5. All State Championship contenders will race the 100k distance. Missouri State Champion Winners Jersiey Included, 2nd and 3rd place podiums and medals and everything else the EQUALIZER offers is available to registrants. State Championship contenders....You MUST have a current USAC ANNUAL licence and be a resident of Missouri. Use code INTROMEMB25 for Half off of a new USAC licence! Thank you USAC! You do not need any licence to race the normal 50k or 100k, your one day licence is covered within the registration costs so you can just show up and ride. USAC points are not required or needed to register for a certain State Championship Gravel category. Regardless of your choice, all get the opportunity to hammer the fast road sections peppered by limestone gravel through the rolling countryside of Marthasville and Warrenton through the Aid stations and checkpoints back into racers village. Speaking of Hammers, have you seen the 1st place awards? 🤩 (the Strava Segment awards aren't too shabby either) New Custom Hammer Medals for 2nd and 3rd place, and top 5 overall will have their name printed on the next years shirt. State Championship category winners will get The Roy Doskal Realty Equalizer State Championship Jersey and Mo State Medals. Also Custom Hammer medals for 2nd and 3rd place. The Equalizer is fast enough for the pavement pounder, yet technical enough for the gravel grinders, and most importanter.. Fun and safe for everyone. Aid station for both distances, (water/ice/sports drink) (The 100k sees it 2wice) Bring your sag bag if you need food you cant haul. we will have it ready for you there. Trailing/roaming sag as well. Post race food, snacks, beverages, music, podiums, pics, Equalizer Black T-shirt available for those who registered by 7-15. Again, The name of last years top 5 M/F in both distances will be printed on the back, Forever immortalized in glorious glory of course. Award Ceremony and awards for the Top 3 in all A.G.10yr increments. AND Overall M/F. (must be done during race and on strava) Simply upload and show your Kingly/Queenly status to be elgible for a KOM gravel crown trophy. They are sweet. You will see signs for the segment start/stops, Routes are linked below, you can peep the segments there but be sure to downlXLoad the GPX because why not. The very short and climby "Kersten Krusher" and the 6 mile "King of the Groad". Race this for a great cause! The National Anthem is at 7:26 The State Championship 100K will start AT 7:30 am. There will be 1 minute wave start between Categories. The Standard 100K rolls at 7:37. The 50KXL rolls at 7:38! Course Details The course takes you through roads that look untouched by time, into the beautiful and beastiful rolling hills of Warren county farm country. Gravel consistency ranges from fast hard packed crushed limestone, to loose gravel, to big brown Charette Creek river valley rock, to buttery smooth asphalt 3 creek crossings and dirt for the 100k. The official routes are linked below, go have a Reconn Ride! Turns will be marked by orange arrows on the road roadside directional stakes. Also several corner marshalls present. Its gonna be an epic day. Food and Drink KT Caboose onsite early race morning with discounted food and drink specials. Hamburgers, Veggie burgers, Chips, Snacks, Waters, Colas, Beers on Saturday afternoon post race waiting for you. We are working on sponsors for other food and drink options as well and will list here when that day comes. Coffee please. Camping and Lodging Primitive camping is available for free at the KT Caboose and in Wessel Park Saturday night. (the field next to the Marthasville Katy Trail head/State Park) Bathrooms and showers are available literally across the street at the Ballfields. They do ask for an honor system $3-5 dollar donation for use to help with keeping them stocked etc. Also: there are several rentals in Marthasville and lots of standard hotel options in neaby Washington Mo. and many B&B's in the wine country of nearby Augusta. Packet Pick Up You can pick up your packet with Race number, T-shirt, swag, general instructions Thursday at SBR Bikes and Brews in Chesterfield valley from 3-6. or race morning in Racers Village until 7:15am. Racers Village is at the Marthasville City Park Pavillion. (see map below) Race will be chip timed with instant results and free finish line photos and none other than Marcus Janzow and Jeff Pitts drone service will be out on the course.. where is a mystery.. but they get the greatest shots. That sounds Official! Indeed it is.. Here are some F.A.Q. answers. 1. If you do NOT have an ANNUAL USAC Licence, You will need a 1 day licence to participate. Not to worry, we will have them for you to fill out at packet pick up. and it costs you nothing. 2. Sho Me Gravel Series Participants will need to also fill out a Waiver at packet pick up as well. We will have Ink pens at the ready. 3. Aerobars are NOT allowed at the event, Centerline rule in effect. 4. We will do categorical rolling wave starts on 1 minute intervals starting at 7:30 with Mens 123. 5. State Championship contenders are not allowed to work/ride with any other categories or groups other than their own Gender. 6. There is a 15 minute protest period after results are posted and before result finalization. The onsite USAC Chief Judge will resolve any disputes. 7. USAC points are NOT in effect as Gravel is still somewhat unregulated due to newness.
