The Acid Hill 5 Miler

This event is designed for those who enjoy shorter races and can be beneficial for speed training. The course is a wheel-measured 2 ½ mile out and back on all rural paved road, featuring rolling, flat, downhill, and uphill sections. There are no houses or dogs on the course, and traffic is very light. You can run or walk.
Start Location: Start and finish at the intersection of Blewett Falls Road and Mini Meadows Lane, Rockingham, N.C. (Use “Mini Meadows Lane, Rockingham, NC” in map apps).
Aid: One aid station will be available at approximately 1 ½ miles (going out) and 3 ½ miles (returning). Water only will be provided. Water will also be available at the finish.
Timing: Provided by Dan Paige.
Awards: None.
Registration: Online only at Ultrasignup.
Entry Fee:
- Until January 1, 2026: $15 + $3.50 Ultrasignup fee
- After December 31, 2025: $50 + $3.50 Ultrasignup fee
If there are remaining funds after costs, pizza will be provided.
