Tenderfoot Boogie 2026 Race Information
The Tenderfoot Boogie is a challenging trail race taking place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Whistler, British Columbia, on the Unceded Traditional Territories of the Lil’wat and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh First Nations. The race starts and finishes at Bayly Park and covers trails from Cal-Cheak Campground in the south to Rainbow Falls in the north, winding through beautiful west coast forests and alongside glacier-fed streams and rivers.
This event is suitable for both first-time trail racers with experience and veteran trail runners. The courses offer a range of difficulties:
- 12 km: A shorter course with a turnaround water station.
- 26 km: Extends south to Cal-Cheak Campground and east to Whistler Interpretive Forest, including more technical sections.
- 50 km: The longest route features sustained climbing and a variety of trail types and technicality.
Important Notes:
- This is a trail race, not a road race. Expect slower paces and greater effort due to rocky, steep, loose, or slippery sections.
- Pacers are not allowed. Runners must be courteous to hikers and mountain bikers.
- The 50 km route crosses Highway 99 at a pedestrian signal.
- Aid stations provide water, electrolytes, gels, snacks, and fruit. The event is cupless; runners must carry their own cup.
- Drop bags are accepted at the start; 50 km drop bags are available at 27 km.
- The event is a fundraiser for Zero Ceiling and WORCA.
Update May 3, 2026: There are course changes south of Cal-Cheak campground for the 26 km and 50 km routes due to trail access issues. The 12 km course has a directional change.
