The Tacos & Tequila 5k is a 5k race and virtual 5k event held in Suwanee, GA, supporting the Lawrenceville Co-Op.
Update - 04/02/25 - Thank you to the City of Suwanee and Police for allowing us an extra 100 runners. ***These extra runners will receive a previous year's sombrero, medal (with this year's ribbon), this year's shirt (up to the 04/12 cut off then first come first serve of pervious year's shirt) - See pictures of previous year's swag options.
The 2025 Tacos & Tequila 5k is officially SOLD OUT! You can still come and enjoy the Fiesta Festival with lots of music, sponsors, vendors, amazing food.

Like Tacos? Like Tequila? How about a fiesta during and after? You have found the right race! Welcome to the 4th annual Tacos & Tequila 5k hosted by Performance Race Services at Suwanee Town Center! Beto's Tacos of Suwanee will be providing you with awesome authentic tacos, chips with salsa and Margaritas! (visit them at www.betostacos.com )
This race supports local Lawrenceville Co-Op who feeds over 350 families per week (visit them at www.lawrencevilleco-op.org ) with a portion of of your registration fee being donated. Please also consider making either a $ donation during sign up or an item donation race day to help. As we go into summer, there are many in our community that are in need and would be greatly helped by your generosity. Tacos & Tequila 5k with Performance Race Services along with your help has donated $15,000 to the Lawrenceville Co-Op over the past 3 years. THANK YOU!
SWAG: Runners who sign up before the shirt cut off will receive a blend t-shirt, and EVERY runners will receive a custom Tacos & Tequila 5k medal, 2 tacos, chips with salsa and 1 Margarita (or lemonade if under 21) from Beto's Tacos. *You can purchase more food or drinks if you like. **Plus you are going to get the coveted TNT Sombreo when you cross the finish line!
*Guaranteed T-Shirt Cut off is 04/12/25* **Once shirts are ordered, we will update the inventory in the registration site, if you are unable to choose the size you want, you can either choose a different size or First Come Frist Serve after the race to see if your size is available. If you choose a different size you can try to exchange after the race. After the race will be First Come First Serve or exchanges.
AWARDS: Top 3 Overall M and F finishers, Master Top 3 M and F along with top 3 M and F in the below age groups: 1-10, 11-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Also, Awards for the Best Costume, Doggie Costume and Best Mexican Grito scream.
RACE INFORMATION:
- Please note, everyone who is 21 and over will be issued a drink band on race day with ID verification (Volunteers will put on) and the band MUST be worn to receive your drink after the race.
- Your Bib will have TWO tear off tickets, one for your tacos and one for your drink. Please don't lose them.

RACE START TIME: 11:00AM (course shuts down at 1:00PM) and the Fiesta part goes to 5:00PM *Music/Fiesta start time at 9:00AM

EARLY PACKET PICK UP: Friday 05/02: Big Peach Running - Suwanee from 5 - 7PM
DAY OF RACE PACKET PICK UP: Saturday 05/03: Starting at 9:30am at the Suwanee Town Center stage
RESTROOMS: Located behind the stage in the park with additional portable bathrooms outside on the path
