Course Details:
- 3km Swim = 4 laps, Minimum Age 18 years
- 1.5km Swim = 2 laps, Minimum Age 15 Years
- 750m Swim = 1 lap, Minimum Age 15 Years
- Aquathlon = 750m Swim (1 lap), Transition, Run = 5km, Minimum Age 17 Years
The Aquathlon follows BTF Race rules. Organised by Mid Sussex Tri Club in conjunction with Sussex Search & Rescue.
The water is set in the lovely countryside of West Sussex with high hills on all sides, wild birds and the iconic Ardingly College building in the background. The triangular swim course is based in the western side of the water and swims out from the Activity Centre to the middle of the water then back along the far side, then across in front of the main wall. All spectators will get a great view of the whole course. There will be Activity Centre support craft and lifeguards on duty to assist you in your swim. Ample Parking at the Reservoir with Overflow at the Ardingly College.
