17. SWE Halbmarathon Ettlingen on August 1, 2026
NEW in 2026: Children's and Youth Runs
This will await you:
A 21.1 km challenging and varied landscape run that connects several Ettlingen districts at different altitudes. The route steadily climbs starting one kilometer after the start in the idyllically situated Horbachpark towards Spessart, with the majority of this ascent leading through the forest. At the summit with views of the Black Forest foothills, it leads profilically to Schluttenbach and from there towards the highest point of the race, which is at approx. 400 m – about 250 m above Ettlingen. The halfway point is reached shortly thereafter. From then on, it's a brisk downhill run, past beautiful natural passages and wide views into the Rhine plain and the Palatinate mountains. Once in the flat, the course runs undulating to the finish at Horbachsee, attractively situated amidst the former State Garden Show grounds.
We offer a refreshment station every 3 km! Additionally, some residents in the districts provide refreshments, or at least motivating encouragement.
