Can I store my luggage (safely)?
Yes, as a participant, you can check in your luggage free of charge at a supervised cloakroom. You will receive a wristband to retrieve your luggage after the run. *There are no lockers on site! Make sure to bring a bag for your belongings, as the cloakroom only accepts bags and no loose items! Please note, only 1 piece of luggage per participant.* Luggage storage is always at your own risk.
Can I come watch? Do I pay admission?
Of course, you are very welcome to cheer on the participants, admission is free, and the grounds open at 8:30 AM. Besides many obstacles, there are also various stalls, catering, etc. to see around the start/finish area. Parking fees may apply for the use of parking facilities.
Do I have to do/overcome every obstacle?
Strong Viking is not a race, it is your own challenge. At every obstacle, there is an option for a 'walk by'*, and you always determine your own limits and how far you want to go! *Different rules apply for the OCR Series (Race Wave).
What is the minimum age for the events?
The minimum age varies per distance:
4 km Family Run: minimum 5 years old (or will be 5 in this calendar year)
4 km Beginning: minimum 10 years old (or will be 10 in this calendar year)
7 km: minimum 10 years old (or will be 10 in this calendar year)
13 km: minimum 12 years old (or will be 12 in this calendar year)
19 km & OCR Series: minimum 14 years old (or will be 14 in this calendar year)
42 km Iron Viking: minimum 16 years old (or will be 16 in this calendar year)
