Strojařská desítka
The Strojařská desítka (Mechanical Engineering Ten) will take place in Zlín on Saturday, September 12, 2026. This race, originally founded and organized by runners from ZPS, is now managed by Jirka Prokop and his friends. The route, similar to the now-defunct Salašský běh but in reverse, leads through undulating terrain on an asphalt road in the forest hills above Zlín. The start is on K Majáku street near the headquarters of Správa a údržba silnic Zlínského kraje. The route follows the green trail marker to the U Boudy crossroads and then continues straight on the asphalt road towards Salaš. The turnaround point is at the barrier before the main road Malenovice – Salaš.
Race Details
- Prezence and Registration: 8:30 AM – 9:40 AM at ERGO VH company premises, Březnická 5461, Zlín Maják.
- Race Start: 10:00 AM at the MHD K Majáku tram turnaround, Zlín (250 meters from the presentation area).
- Distances: 10 km, 5 km.
- Surface: 100% asphalt.
- Refreshments: Ion drinks, soup after the race, fruit provided. Showers are not available.
- Chip Timing: Chips are included with the start number and must be returned at the finish.
- Parking: Available at the ERGO VH company premises.

Children's races will take place after the main race.
