Straberger Drittel-Marathon

About the race
Samba and festive mood in the town center, pure relaxation on the natural course past Kloster Knechtsteden and through the forest. Straberg offers varied runs over 5 and 14.065 kilometers – for beginners, advanced runners, and ambitious athletes (ideal as a test run for the Cologne Marathon four weeks later). Plus a great program for the youth.
Schedule:
- 17:00 Uhr: 250 m Bambini (born 2020 and later)
- 17:15 Uhr: 250 m U8 (born 2018/2019) - No timing for U8; every child up to U8 receives a running shirt with number 1
- 17:30 Uhr: 800 m U10 (born 2016/2017)
- 17:45 Uhr: 800 m U12 (born 2014/2015)
- 18:00 Uhr: 1 Mile U14/16/18 (born 2008-2013)
- 18:35 Uhr: 5 km (Age groups from U14)
- 18:40 Uhr: 1/3-Marathon (Age groups from U20 = 14.065 km)
Start and finish for all competitions are at Linden-Kirch-Platz. Spectators can experience non-stop action until around 8:30 PM.

T-Shirts
150 running shirts with the number "1" are ready for the youngest participants. The FC Straberg is donating these black jerseys to all children up to the "U8" age group. Every child in the finish line receives a medal.
Directions
By car: A57 exit Dormagen, then 5 minutes. Parking available near Linden-Kirch-Platz. Public transport: Bus lines 883 and NE1/WE1 from Dormagen train station. Changing rooms and showers are available in the sports hall.
