Stoppelfeld-Ultra 2026
Dates: July 18-19, 2026
Location: Kerpen-Blatzheim, Germany
The Stoppelfeld Ultra 2026 is a classic Backyard Ultra event. It's not a race against time, but a battle against fatigue, heat, willpower, and the clock. The last one standing wins.
The Challenge:
- 30 Laps
- 201 Kilometers
- One Goal
Can you start again at the top of the hour for 30 laps? Each lap is exactly 6.706 kilometers long and must be completed within 60 minutes. The start of each new lap is precisely on the hour. Anyone who does not finish a lap in time or does not appear at the start on time will be automatically disqualified (DNF - Did Not Finish).
The course runs over fields and farm tracks around Blatzheim, including towards Clemenshöfe, Burg Bergerhausen, and the Blatzheim multipurpose hall. The start and finish area is at the Blatzheim sports field, which also serves as the basecamp.
The remaining time within an hour after crossing the finish line can be used freely for recovery, refreshments, or short breaks. With each additional hour, the physical and mental strain increases.
The winner of the Stoppelfeld Ultra 2026 is the runner who successfully completes the 30th lap first. This corresponds to a total distance of 201 kilometers.
