Stevenage Menzies 5k and 10k 2026
The Stevenage Menzies 5k and 10k takes place on 30 August 2026 in Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage. The race day includes a 5k, a 10k and a combined entry that covers both distances. The race village is based at the bandstand area of the park and on the grass beside the Stevenage Parkrun start.

Entry fees are published for single and combined entries; finishers receive medals for the 5k and a medal plus a unisex t-shirt for the 10k. A discount is available for affiliated running club members. Race numbers can be collected on the day at registration and there is an early collection session the day before. A supervised baggage area is provided and mobile toilets are available in the park; there are no dedicated changing facilities.
The event is run under an ARC permit and the courses will be wheel measured. Chip timing is used and finishers receive both chip and gun times. Results are published in real time and finishers receive SMS and email confirmation. Water is provided on the 10k course and at the finish. The course is suitable for wheelchair users and runners may take one well-behaved dog or one pushchair, starting from the back of the field. Minimum ages are 12 for the 5k and 15 for the 10k. - 5k only: £17 (medal for every finisher)
- 10k only: £30 (medal and shirt for every finisher)
- Both races combi: £40 (2 medals and 1 shirt)
- £2 discount for affiliated running clubs
Race Headquarters
Race village is the bandstand area of Fairlands Valley Park (opposite the cafe) and on the grass area next to Stevenage Parkrun start.

The race will be run under an ARC permit and will have a certificate of course measurement ensuring that it is an accurate 5k and 10k distance.

Race Numbers & Collection
Timing chips are attached to race numbers. Collection is available on Saturday 29th August (9:00am - 12:00pm) at Fairlands Valley Park Main Car Park, and on Sunday 30th August (8:00am - 09:50 am) at the event village.
Dog and Pushchair Friendly
Runners are welcome to run with 1 well-behaved dog or 1 pushchair, starting from the back of the race start. Dogs must be kept on a short lead.
