Star Spangled Spectacular
Join us for the 32nd Annual Star Spangled Spectacular on July 4, 2026, in Lima, OH. The event features the Freedom 5K run/walk, live music, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: Faurot Park, Lima, OH
Race Start Location: S Cole St near Lakewood Ave.
Over 1,000 runners are expected to participate in the Freedom 5K, the area’s largest run/walk. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category.
Age Groups: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Packet Pick Up: Race day registration from 7-9 a.m.
Evening Entertainment: The Lima Area Concert Band will perform at 8:00 p.m. in the Rotary Pavilion, followed by the fireworks display around 10:00 p.m.
