Welcome to the home of the Standalone 10k, "a firm favourite on the local race calendar" now in its 39th year!
The Standalone 10k is a local race organised by a local running club for the last 38 years. Everyone in the club involved in the event gives their time for free. We do this to reduce the impact on the environment together by walking or cycling to the race on Standalone Farm.
The race features a chip timed 10 km road race with a measured course and fully closed roads. Organised by North Herts Road Runners, the event features live music, on course support and a recycled t shirt option. It is a great opportunity for you to not only test yourself and improve your personal best, but also to have a great morning out running with family, friends and neighbours.
North Herts Road Runners are committed to putting on the best and safest race we can. You will get a times and measured course, a fully closed road, professional marshalling by our club members (who also make an excellent cheer squad), on-course entertainment, great facilities and food and drink stalls at Standalone Farm with easy access and plenty of parking.
In partnership with the Heritage Foundation, we want to make this year's race the greenest Standalone 10k event ever.
