Stadtlauf in Gedern
The 24th Gederner Stadtlauf offers a special running experience through the historic old town of Gedern. With courses over 500 m, 1,500 m, 5 km, and 10 km, there is a suitable offer for children, youths, beginners, and ambitious runners. The longer distances lead over a varied circuit of four laps of 2.5 kilometers each, combining sporting challenge and history. Sections of traditional paths such as the Eisenpfad, the Basaltweg, the Barbarossaweg, and the Fürstenweg run along the route. Special highlights include the steep climb to the Schlossberg, over the paved castle courtyard, and through the castle garden, making the city run an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators.
