St Aidan's 10K 2026
Takes place on Friday 24 July 2026 at RSPB St Aidan's Country Park, Swillington, Leeds. The event is a 10 km trail race run along public footpaths and bridleways within the Country Park. The route starts by the RSPB St Aidan's Little Owl Cafe, beside the preserved walking dragline excavator known as "Oddball", and finishes at the Visitor Centre.
The course is described as fast and mostly flat with an undulating profile and is a single lap. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. A TRA permit has been applied for. Entry is limited to 300 places because of restricted parking on site and environmental considerations.
On-course and event facilities include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race headquarters is at St Aidan's RSPB Visitor Centre, LS26 8AL.
Entry fees listed are £21.00 for affiliated entries and £23.00 for unaffiliated entries, with an assumed additional charge for on-the-day entry if places remain. When all places are sold or if it is less than four weeks to race day entry fees are non-refundable; if the race is cancelled places are transferred to a rescheduled date.
