Event Information
The Sri Chinmoy New Year's Day Half-Marathon features a scenic, flat and fast loop around historic Flushing Meadows Corona Park, starting at 9:00AM.

Registration and Fees:
Register online through this webpage. Prices:
- $40 through Dec. 4
- $50 through Dec. 22
- $60 through Dec. 30, 5PM
No race-day registration. Entries cannot be transferred to another person.
The Course:
A scenic, "pancake flat" and fast USATF certified loop starting near the intersection of Ave. of Commerce and Ave. of Progress, passing the iconic World's Fair Unisphere, Queens Museum of Art and Fountain of the Planets.
Half-Marathon = one 0.35-mile start loop + ten 1.27-mile loops.
Awards:
Men’s and Women’s awards categories include:
- Under 50: Top 7
- 50-59: Top 3
- 60-69: Top 2
- 70 & over: First Place
Pancake Breakfast:
Hot pancakes will be served for everyone on race day!
Time Limits:
3 hours, or a 13:45/mile minimum pace. (12 noon cutoff)
Age Restrictions:
Participants must be 16 years or older as of race-day to compete.
Cancellation Policy:
If the event is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, participants will receive race shirts and finisher medals by mail and trophies will be mailed to winners.
