Splash Dash - A Community Fundraiser
The Splash Dash kicks off an all-day celebration for America 250 in Cressona. This 2.50 mile FUN* run/walk is designed to be enjoyable for all ages and abilities, traversing the streets of Cressona to support our beloved town pool which requires $1.2 million in repairs and upgrades.
Rally your friends, family, and even your pets to join participants of all ages and skill levels. For safety, only strollers or wagons are permitted on the course.
*Please note this is an un-timed event. Participants are welcome to use self-timers if interested.
We aim to promote community spirit as we begin our pool fundraising efforts. The event starts and ends at the town pool on Graeff Street, where ample parking is available. Expect cheering crowds and music from the Cressona Band as you finish.
Dress in your best patriotic wear or pool accessories to celebrate America's 250th birthday in Cressona. This is our first major fundraising event for the pool, and your support is greatly appreciated.
Special Splash Dash T-shirts will be available for kids (ages five and above) and adults. Virtual participants can also select a special t-shirt. You may order a t-shirt with your race registration. The deadline to order a T-shirt is July 1st.
