Sparkassen-LüneCross - Lüneburg
Experience an unforgettable nature event in the city! The Sparkassen-LüneCross is an exciting and challenging running event that draws runners of all levels into nature.
Our course leads through varied and demanding terrain – from sandy and root-covered paths to meadows, forest trails, and gravel roads. Here you can test your endurance, strength, and running technique while enjoying the fresh air and nature.
Event Details
The 2nd Sparkassen-LüneCross takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026. It offers main races of 4km and 8km, as well as shorter distances for children and youth (800m, 1.3km, and 2.6km). This year, we also offer 8km team relays consisting of 3 to 6 runners. This allows you to run a distance alone and then complete a great team event with family, colleagues, teammates, friends, or neighbors.
The school competition with prizes for schools with the highest participation rate remains, of course!
Food and drinks will be provided, and after the races, you are cordially invited to our award ceremony and social gathering.
Whether you are participating in a cross-country run for the first time or already have experience – the focus for us is on the fun of running and the community. Register now and become part of this special event!

- Kinder / Jugendliche: 800 meters

- Staffel (Team Relay): 8 kilometers (3-6 runners)
