Sokolský běh republiky – Zlatá Olešnice
The Sokolský běh republiky in Zlatá Olešnice will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. This event is a race format where timing may not be measured by a timing system, but participants will still receive their results and be part of the award ceremony. Each participant will receive a start package with a bib number and gifts from organizers and partners, and a medal in the shape of the republic awaits in the finish line.
There are three runs for children and one main run for adults.
Main Race
Adults 5.2 km
The main race for adults offers a 5.2 km course combining asphalt, unpaved, and forest paths. The course profile is hilly, with a total elevation gain of 72 meters, testing the physical condition of the participants.
Children's Race
- 1.7 km - for children born between 2012 - 2015
- 800 m - for children born between 2016 - 2019
- 800 m - for children born in 2020 and younger
The children's courses also feature a mix of surfaces and some elevation changes, designed to be fun and challenging.
Accompanying Program
Reproduced music, seating, and a refreshment stand will be available from 12:00 to 15:30.
Facilities for Runners
The Sokolovna (gymnasium) will provide changing rooms, toilets, and showers (limited number). Seating and a refreshment stand will be located outside the Sokolovna.
Parking
Please park cars in the parking lot below the ski slope. Do not drive to the parking lot at the Sokolovna.

- 14:00: Start of the main race
- 15:00: Award ceremony for the main race
