About the race
The Sokolský běh republiky – Uherský Brod will take place in Uherský Brod on Wednesday 28 October 2026. The event features a main race with 5 km and 8 km distances for adults, and several children's races of varying lengths (1200m, 450m, 170m). The main 5 km course starts at the Sokol stadium, goes through the city center, residential areas, and around a pond. The 8 km course also starts at the stadium, explores a park and residential areas, and includes a section in nature before rejoining the 5 km route. Children's races have start and finish at the stadium, with routes around the facility and in the adjacent park.

- Children's Races: 1200m (born 2012-2015), 450m (born 2016-2020), 170m (born 2021 and younger)
Logistics:
- Start Time: Children's races start from 12:30 PM, main race at 2:00 PM.
- Number Pickup: For children's races from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. For the main race from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
- Facilities: Toilets, showers, changing rooms at the Sokolovna. Refreshments at the stadium.
- Parking: Free parking available at the stadium and surrounding areas.
- Registration: Online registration available, as well as on-site registration. Minors under 18 require parental consent for the 5 km race.
