About the race
The Sokolský běh republiky – Radčice will take place in Skuteč on Wednesday 28 October 2026. You can run 5.9 kilometers or a 2.5 km children's course. This event is a non-competitive run for enjoyment. Participants will receive a start package with a race number and gifts from organizers and partners. A medal shaped like the republic awaits finishers.
Participation is possible without prior registration. The entry fee for adults is 100 CZK and for children is 50 CZK, for those not interested in a start package.
Main Course
Adults 5.9 km
The race starts in the Doupnice Sports Complex and heads towards the local cowshed, then through a forest path, around Hesina pond, and back to the finish line. The course includes forest paths, asphalt, and paved roads.
Children's Course
2.5 km - born 2012 - 2017
The children's route goes past houses, towards the viaduct, down to the village square, back to the cowshed, up to cottages on the hill, down to the reservoir, and back to the start, offering views of Radčice village.
Accompanying Program
During and after the race, you can relax in the lounge and view photos from local Sokol events.
Facilities for Runners
Race facilities, including refreshments and toilets, will be available at the complex. Refreshments are provided for all participants during the race.
Parking
Parking is marked in the Doupnice complex. You can also arrive by car or walk from the nearby train station Žďárec u Skutče (1.5 km).
