Sokolský běh republiky – Nové Město na Moravě
The Sokolský běh republiky – Nové Město na Moravě will take place in Nové Město na Moravě on Wednesday 28 October 2026. This is a running race organized by T. J. Sokol Nové Město na Moravě.
Race Details
- Main Race: 7 km for adults. The route starts at the swimming pool, goes above the Vysočina arena, past the Pernovka natural monument, around Černá skála, and back to the swimming pool.
- Children's Races:
- 1 km: for children born 2011-2014. The route is on grass along the water and forest path, done twice.
- 500 m: for children born 2015 and younger. The route is on grass along the water and forest path.
Participant Information
The race will be timed, and winners will be announced. Each participant will receive a starting package with a bib number and gifts from organizers and partners. A medal in the shape of the Czech Republic will be awarded at the finish line.
Schedule
- 12:00 - 12:30: Bib collection for children's races
- 12:50 - 13:30: Bib collection for the main race
- 13:00: Start of children's race (2015 and younger)
- 13:15: Start of children's race (2011 - 2014)
- 13:45: Award ceremony for children's races
- 14:00: Start of the main race
- 15:00: Award ceremony for the main race
Services
Mobile toilets will be available. Luggage can be stored with the organizers. Light refreshments will be provided for all participants.
Parking and Transport
Parking is available at the swimming pool complex parking lot, which has historically accommodated all participants.
