Sokolský běh republiky – Horní Bříza
The Sokolský běh republiky – Horní Bříza will take place in Horní Bříza on Wednesday 28 October 2026. This event is a fun run without timed results, focusing on participation and enjoyment. Participants will receive a start package with a bib number and gifts, and a special medal in the shape of the Czech Republic will be awarded upon finishing.
Main Course
Adults: 5 km
- The route starts and ends at the local Sokol (gymnastics hall) grounds, then proceeds through streets and into the forest.
Children's Courses
- 800 m - for children born between 2012 and 2020. The start and finish are at the Sokol grounds, with the route running through the surrounding streets.
- 150 m - for children born in 2021 and younger. This route takes place on the field at the Sokol grounds.
Event Schedule
- 9:00 - 10:00: Collection of children's bib numbers
- 11:00 - 13:00: Collection of bib numbers for the main race
- 10:30: Start of children's race (born 2021 and younger)
- 11:00: Start of children's race (born 2012 - 2020)
- 13:00: Award ceremony for children's races
- 14:00: Start of main races
- 16:00: Award ceremony for main races

- Changing rooms and restrooms (male and female) are available inside the Sokol building.
- Refreshments will be provided at the Sokol grounds.
- Free parking is available in the vicinity of the Sokol grounds.
