Sokolský běh Louňovice
The Sokolský běh Louňovice will take place in Louňovice pod Blaníkem on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The event features a main race for adults and several distances for children.
Main Race (Adults)
Distance: 5.6 km
The main race starts on the square in Louňovice pod Blaníkem in front of the chateau. The route leads through the natural and historical beauties of Malý Blaník, passing the highest point of Malý Blaník near the chapel of Mary Magdalene before returning to the town. The course includes asphalt sections and unpaved, marked paths outside the town.
Categories for the main race include Men and Women, with age groups ranging from 16 to 70+ for men and 16 to 55+ for women.
A tombola will be held for participants of the main race immediately after the awards ceremony.
This race is part of the Běžec Podblanicka series.
Children's Races
- 1.3 km: For children born 2011 - 2014. Starts on the square, route through Louňovice.
- 800 m: For children born 2015 - 2018. Starts on the square, route around residential buildings.
- 400 m: For children born 2019 and younger. Starts on the square, route through Louňovice.

Participant Information
Start packages include a race number, small gifts from partners, and a medal.
Race day registration is available for an increased fee.
Facilities
Registration and facilities are located in the chateau garden. Refreshments available at the finish line. Restrooms are inside the chateau. Changing rooms are available upon request.
