About the race
The Soběchlebský Š-krpál is a race that was first run in 2017 and its route of about 11.7 km with a total elevation gain and loss of 268 m runs around the village of Soběchleby. The race is organized by a group of local running enthusiasts in cooperation with the municipality of Soběchleby and with the significant help of SDH Soběchleby. It is a race whose route runs 90% on dirt and paved forest paths with start and finish at the football field in the village of Soběchleby, Přerov district. The main race traditionally starts at 12:00 PM, but the race is preceded by a supporting program in the form of popular children's races for all children's age categories. More information can be found in the timetable. From 2023, a shortened route has been added, which, due to interest, will be run from the 2024 edition as the Soběchlebský Š-krpál 6km - conditioning run, which is therefore 6 km long with a total elevation gain and loss of 137 m. It is intended for everyone, not only for those who do not yet dare to take on the main route, but for beginner runners, conditioning runners and walkers, younger or older competitors, for whom the more demanding route might cause problems, etc. Simply a relaxed run for everyone, although we will announce the first three adults and juniors regardless of age, see the conditions.
In the facilities at the football field, there is a changing room, showers, and toilets. Refreshments are available for participants of the main race according to the conditions (usually soup + drink) and for other refreshments, you can use the open commercial refreshment in the area. Parking is possible in the immediate vicinity of the area.
