Sir Titus March Mayhem
Sir Titus March Mayhem is a set of trail races held along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal from Saltaire. The route follows the canal towpath as an out and back course with generally flat, good trail terrain and some uneven sections.
Distances offered include:
- 10K
- 10 Miler
- Half Marathon
- 20 Miler (2 x 10 mile laps)
- Marathon (2 x half marathon laps)
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association under UKA rules. The course is marshalled and signed, with feed and drink stations roughly every three miles. There are canal-side toilets at the start and finish. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a range of treats.
Practical details: Parking is available around the village and at Titus Salt School. The race HQ is a short walk from Saltaire train station. Organisers encourage reusable cups or bottles at feed stations and ask runners to avoid large over-ear headphones; bone conduction or single-ear in-ears are acceptable. There may be unmarshalled road crossings on the route. Transfers or deferrals can be self-served up to seven days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Our races are fully Trail Running Association licensed under UKA Rules and take place on the beautiful Leeds to Liverpool Canal – a flat, scenic out-and-back route ideal for beginners and experienced runners alike.
Registration Opens from 8am – please allow yourself 1 hour to park, register and use the loos.
- 10K – 10:00am start
- 10 Miler – 8:30am start
- Half Marathon – 9:00am start
- 20 Miler (2 x 10 mile laps) – 8:30am start
- Marathon (2 x half marathon laps) – 8:30am start
During the race important things to note:
- Cup-less: Feed stations are normally around every three miles and offer drinks and a range of food but please bring your own re-usable cup or bottle.
- Headphones: We prefer you not to wear earphones, especially large over-ear headphones that block out sounds. If you do need to wear earphones, then please use bone conducting earphones or "one in one out" in ear pieces. Please note, there may be unmarshalled road crossings.
- Transfers/Deferrals: You can self-serve your transfer on our website up to 7 days before the event.
