She Strides Metric Marathon
The event is a trail Metric Marathon of 26 km that starts and finishes in the centre of Hebden Bridge. The route includes a steep initial climb onto the moor, then a relatively flat section past Stoodley Pike along sandy and rocky trails, followed by stone slabs and reservoirs. Runners reach a turnaround near the White House pub car park and return along the same route, finishing with a downhill back into the town centre.
The course is marked with flags and supported by marshals. A tail runner monitors the rear of the field and a halfway checkpoint is provided. A water station at the turnaround offers water and squash. A secure baggage store is available for participants and all finishers receive a medal.

Route
The route starts from the centre of Hebden Bridge. After a steep climb hits the trail, the route then flattens out and you travel along the moor past the iconic Stoodley Pike, across sandy, rocky trails and eventually hit stone slabs. After passing the reservoirs you will reach the end of the trail, and take a brief pit stop at the car park of the White House pub before returning back the way you came, the downhill will signal the end of your Metric Marathon, finishing back in the centre of Hebden Bridge.
Well marked course: This route will have flags to follow, so you can just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Hydration station: There will be marshalls out along the course and a water station at the turnaround point, offering water and squash in order to keep you hydrated for the return journey.
