Welcome to the 1st Annual Seize the Day Warrior Walk in Shreveport! We are Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana (EAL), the oldest epilepsy organization in the state, dedicated to supporting people living with epilepsy through direct services, education, and advocacy. Since 1977, we have provided essential community services across Louisiana, reaching thousands of individuals impacted by epilepsy. Our mission is to assist those affected by epilepsy within their communities by addressing the broad spectrum of challenges seizures can bring.
We are thrilled to bring the Seize the Day Warrior Walk to Shreveport, October 17, 2026! As part of our statewide effort to support people with epilepsy, this event will feature the Warrior Walk — a 1-mile walk dedicated to celebrating the strength and resilience of those affected by epilepsy. By focusing exclusively on the Warrior Walk, we aim to create a deeply engaging and accessible experience for everyone in the community.
