Seidenraupen Cross 2026
The Seidenraupen Krefeld are organizing the 13th Seidenraupen Cross on Sunday, September 21, 2026. We offer our well-known cross and trail routes of 6533 m and 16,160 m (which can also be walked) and are, of course, looking forward to the children's races. Registration is open here.

Schedule (unofficial, subject to change)
- 10:00 AM: Start for hikers, walkers, and Nordic walkers
- 11:00 AM: Start of the 16,160m run
- 11:15 AM: Start of the Canicross run (6km)
- 11:20 AM: Start of the 6533m run
- 13:45 PM: Start of the Bambini race
- 14:15 PM: Start of the Kids race
About the Race
Runners on the 6 or 16 KM course can expect one of the most interesting cross-country runs in North Rhine-Westphalia, organized in a familiar atmosphere. Or is it a trail? Who knows... in any case, it goes over hill and dale, past wild boars, roaring stags, and cheerful deer fawns. Krefeld's largest nature reserve, the Hülser Bruch, is also home to Krefeld's three highest "mountains" that need to be climbed. The terrain leaves nothing to be desired: tough climbs, fast downhills, and a fantastic natural landscape. While the 6km course is also suitable for beginners, you should at least have laced up your running shoes before for the 16km.
The younger participants can let off steam in the races on the Hülser district sports facility.
