The next Sedus RUN will take place on September 19, 2026. Get ready to race!
We are excited that Dogern will be a meeting point for running enthusiasts, and we can host the company run as usual. Movement keeps the body and mind fit, and running together creates good moods, so everyone is welcome to join this event.

Competitions and Classifications
Whether you are a running beginner or a professional, short or long distance, young or old, the selected course profiles offer something suitable for everyone. You can choose your pace over 10 km, 5 km, and for the kids over 600 m and 1200 m. It's not primarily about times and performance, but rather about being active together with colleagues. The focus is on the fun of sports, health promotion, and community.
Kids RUN (Children's Runs)
- Individual classification: • Children aged 4 - 6 years 600 m (2 laps) • Children aged 7 - 10 years 1200 m (4 laps)
10km-Lauf, 5km-Lauf, and Nordic Walking
- Team classification (time addition of the four team members): • the three fastest company teams
- Individual classification: • fastest male/female runner of the 10km run • fastest student of the 10km run
10km-Lauf and 5km-Lauf Special Classification:
- oldest participant
- most athletic company (company with the most participants)
Course Details
Kids RUN
For the little athletes, we have also devised a challenge. Here, there is a flat circuit of 300 m on the Sedus factory premises, which can be run as follows: Children aged 4 – 6 years: 2 laps = 600 m Children aged 7 – 10 years: 4 laps = 1200 m Registration is free and also done online. There is a start number with a timing chip for every participant. As a reward, all runners (m/f) receive a certificate and a small surprise. ATTENTION! No team classification!
5km-Lauf Course
The start and finish for the 5km run (4.80 km) are on the Sedus factory premises in Dogern. Afterwards, turn right at the "Dogerner Kreisverkehr" towards the sports field until the weir. The course remains flat and leads, with a scenic route, in a loop to the Leibstadt ferry terminal. From here, it goes back over the dam path to the Dogern weir. Then, the route passes the SV Dogern sports field to the finish line on the Sedus factory premises.
10km-Lauf Course
The start and finish for the 10km run (10.50 km) are on the Sedus factory premises in Dogern. Afterwards, turn right at the "Dogerner Kreisverkehr" towards the sports field to the Rhine. The course remains flat and leads, with a scenic route, on the German Rhine side to the so-called Dreispitz. Refreshments as per plan. From there, it goes over the bridge back along the Swiss Rhine bank to the Dogern weir, then to the Leibstadt ferry terminal. From here, it goes back over the dam path to the weir, then past the SV Dogern sports field, to the finish line on the Sedus factory premises.
