Schechener Kirtalauf
The Schechener Kirtalauf offers a suitable route for everyone, from children to adults. Whether it's the children's run, hobby run, main run, Nordic walking, or relay race, the focus is on movement, community, and the joy of sport.
You can decide during the run whether you want to run 3.4 km (1 lap), 6.7 km (2 laps), or 10 km (3 laps).

Registration
Registration is possible from 01.09.2026.
- Online Registration: via the registration portal on this page
- Registration Deadline: 14.10.2026
- Late Registration: Late registrations are only possible to a limited extent on the day of the event at the bib number distribution up to 30 minutes before the start.
Race Details
- Children's Run: approx. 1,300 m
- Hobby Run: 1 lap approx. 3.4 km or 2 laps approx. 6.7 km
- Main Run: 3 laps / 10 km
- Nordic Walking: 2 laps approx. 6.7 km
- Relay Race: 3 laps as a team
Schedule
- From 12:00 PM: Start of bib number distribution in the clubhouse
- 2:00 PM: Start Children's Run (U8, U10, U12)
- From 2:30 PM: Award ceremony for Children's Run at the clubhouse
- 3:15 PM: Start Main Run (three laps), simultaneous start Nordic Walking (two laps), parallel start Hobby Run (one or two laps), simultaneous start of the first relay runner
- Approx. 4:45 PM: End of timing
- Afterwards: Award ceremony
Courses
- Children's Run: Start at the bike path near the clubhouse, heading south on the bike path to Rosenheimer Straße, past the town hall, via Rosenweg, and back to the start/finish area on the bike path.
- Hobby Run / Nordic Walking / Main Run: Start at the bike path near the clubhouse, heading south on the bike path to Rosenheimer Straße, past the town hall, via Rosenweg, along the railway to Hochstätt, and via the bike path along the old B15 to the finish (clubhouse).
- Hobby Run: 1 or 2 laps
- Nordic Walking: 2 laps (with or without poles)
- Main Run: 3 laps
- Relay Race: Three runners (mixed, i.e., min. 1 male and 1 female) share the three laps. Each relay runner completes one lap. Each team receives a baton with an integrated timing chip.
Entry Fees
- Children's Run: €5.00 (if registered by 14.10.2026)
- Main Run / Hobby Run / Nordic Walking: €15.00
- Relay Race: €30.00 (if registered by 14.10.2026)
- Late Registration Fee: €5.00 on the day of the event
Award Ceremony and Prizes
- From 5:00 PM: In the clubhouse with an after-run party
- Every participant receives a finisher medal.
- Certificates will be available for self-printing on the homepage of the results list.
- Awards:
- 1st to 3rd place in the Children's Run for each age group and gender.
- Award for the fastest in the Main Run in the respective age classes with a material prize.
- Award for the local champion (male and female) with a traveling trophy.
- Team prize for the largest team.
- Team prize for the fastest team (based on the sum of the times of the three fastest participants of a team in the main run).
- Prizes for the fastest youth and adult relay teams.
Note: Material prizes will only be awarded in person.
