Saxon Shore Half Marathon incorporating Saxon Shore 10k
This event is a coastal running weekend based at Whitstable Castle, Tower Hill, Whitstable, CT5 2BW. Now in its eighth year, the organiser reports the event has sold out in previous years. The 2026 programme includes the return of the Saxon Shore 10k in addition to the half marathon.
The event village is located at the castle and offers refreshments and toilets. Live music is scheduled and an after party at Whitstable Castle is included with entry; the after party will feature food, drink and a live band. The village is described as being within easy reach of viewing points along the course.
Entry Fees:
- Half Marathon: Advanced entries are £30 for affiliated club members and £32 for unaffiliated runners. On-the-day entries (subject to space) are £40.
- 10k: Advanced entries are £24 affiliated and £26 unaffiliated. On-the-day (subject to space) are £30.
Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the half marathon is 17 years on the day and for the 10k the minimum age is 15 years on the day.
