Sault International Festival of Races
The 2026 Sault International Festival of Races will take place September 26-27, 2026. Races will begin at 8:00am on both Saturday (5 Mile Bridge Run) and Sunday (Half Marathon, 5K Run, and 5K Walk).
Day 1 (Saturday): 5 Mile Bridge Run
This challenging RUN takes participants across the International Bridge, requiring a pace of 15 minutes per mile or faster. The start/finish area is at the LSSU Arts Center, offering scenic views of the Soo Locks, LSSU, and the St. Mary's Rapids.
Day 2 (Sunday): Half Marathon, 5K Run, and 5K Walk
These races will start and finish near the heart of downtown Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Note that these events DO NOT cross the International Bridge.
Participants can register for each race separately. IDs are recommended for medical emergencies. Passports are not required for running but are recommended for travel into the US from Canada.
