Event Overview
The Santa Fe Striders Running Festival features a 5K cross country course and races for young runners aged 3 to 14. The main race will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Course Details
The 5K course is primarily on trail/dirt roads, with the exception of .25 miles. We have designed races for younger runners to promote a healthy lifestyle.
- 3 – 4 years old – 200 meters
- 5 – 6 years old – 400 meters
- 7 – 8 years old – 800 meters
- 9 – 10 years old – 1 mile
- 11 – 14 years old – 2 miles
Registration Information
You must check in by 8:45 AM to receive your race number. Online registration closes on July 14 at 11:59 PM. Race Day registration opens at 7:00 AM, with fees of $40 before May 31, $45 from June 1 to July 15, and $50 on Race Day.
Awards
Awards include cash prizes for the top male and female overall finishers:
- First Place - $100
- Second Place - $75
- Third Place - $50
- First Male & Female Masters (40+) - $35
All finishers will receive a reflective zipper pull and a free shirt if registered by July 6.
