Course Information
The course features 50 miles of trail running with adjustments made to mitigate congestion on narrow trails and creek crossings. Options are provided for creek crossings to improve flow for runners.
Event History & Details
The event, originally the Lake City 50, began in 1995. It has evolved over the years, with date and course adjustments to account for weather, snowfields, and community involvement. It now serves as a benefit for Lake City EMTs and is typically held around the Summer Solstice.
Prerequisites
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have completed a prior trail ultra run.
- Should have significant high mountain experience and be comfortable in that setting.
Live Tracking
MAProgress live tracking will be used. Runners must carry a registered tracker.

- 50 Miler Registration: $250.00 (Total: $269.75 incl. taxes & fees)
- Price after May 14: $275.00 ($296.37 incl. taxes/fees)
