Salamander Run 2026
Join the Salamander Run on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Türkheim for a 5km charity race supporting the Kinderhospiz St. Nikolaus in Bad Grönenbach. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or participating as a family team, all are welcome to contribute to a good cause.

- Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026
- Time: Registration/Start Kit Pickup: 3:15 PM - 4:45 PM. Event Opening: 5:00 PM. Warm-up: After opening. Race Start: Approx. 5:30 PM in multiple blocks (Sprinters, Runners, Walkers). Event End: 9:00 PM.

- Distance: 5 kilometers
- Purpose: Charity run supporting Kinderhospiz St. Nikolaus.
Important Information
- Accreditation/Start Kit Pickup: September 25th, 3:15 PM - 4:45 PM at the Salamander company premises. Group registrations due by 4:30 PM.
- Parking: Limited parking available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants from the surrounding area are encouraged to arrive by bicycle or on foot. Parking entrance closes at 5:00 PM. Bicycle parking is also available.
- Course: The route follows the Wertach river along field and forest paths, with uneven terrain. The race will take place in rain; participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing. A large tent will be available before and after the run.
- Start Groups: Participants will be divided into Sprinters, Runners, and Walkers/Strollers.
- Refreshments: Food and drinks will be available at the event grounds, not along the course.
- Media: By participating, you consent to film and photo recordings.
- Spectators: Friends and family are welcome at the finish area but are discouraged from positioning themselves along the course.
- Group Registrations: Designate a group leader, choose a team name, and purchase tickets through the ticket platform. The group leader will provide team name, t-shirt sizes, and collect start kits.
