Run to the Taproom - Creekside Farm Brewery 5K & 8K
Run for Craft Beers at the amazing Creekside Farm Brewery in King George, VA. This is the 2nd ANNUAL 5K & 8K brought to you by Good Day for a Run, LLC! More than a race, it's a fun, unique, well-marked off-road course with excellent swag and a relaxing after-party. A great time for families, friends, and running groups to enjoy friendly competition, outdoor fun, and memories to last a lifetime!
The Run:
Choose one of 2 scenic courses. The 8K starts at 9:00 AM, and the 5K starts at 9:05 AM. The course is a well-maintained (non-technical) dirt trail through the 1000-acre farm that borders the Rappahannock River. The race is chip-timed with awards for the Top 3 Overall and Age Groups (Male/Female: Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, every 10 years). Course Map - Coming Soon.

More Race Info:
Fun for all ages and paces. Time Limit is 1 hour and 40 minutes for the 8K and 1 hour for the 5K. Walkers and children are welcome in the 5K. Need to be registered to be on course for the safety of all participants. This is a dog-friendly race (must be well-behaved, leashed, and start toward the back). Strollers are permitted (may not be suitable for all strollers; please note this is a trail course on packed dirt and some gravel). Rain or Shine. No refunds or transfers. Race has a max capacity of 250 participants.
Packet Pick-Up is scheduled for Race day from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM. Runners/walkers arrive by 8:30 AM to pick up bib and shirts. Late arrivals may not start the course after 9:00 AM and 9:05 AM start times. Late arrivals can still pick up their swag.
