Run for Good News 5K Run/Walk and Salute to the Military
This 5k will benefit the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship Lakelands District and its Good News Clubs. The course is an off-road course through the woods around Greenwood Christian School.
We will also be saluting the military members at this race in conjunction with the 250th birthday of America and offering a trophy for the branch of the military with the quickest 5K time.
Prizes include $200 for the overall 1st place male and female, $200 in merchandise for winners under 18 to maintain NCAA standards, and a $100 prize for the top male and female finishers over 50. Top finishers in each age category will receive a medal.
