Rothley10K
The Rothley10K is a two-lap road race covering 10 km (6.2 miles). The course starts in Woodgate, Rothley, heads towards Mountsorrel through country lanes and returns to Rothley, then repeats the same circuit for a second lap. The event is organised by LOROS and monies from ticket sales are donated to LOROS, with the organiser stating 100% of the ticket price will be given.
Entry categories include affiliated and unaffiliated 10K places. An early bird fee of £20 applies until 4 April 2027; the standard entry fee thereafter is £25. On-the-day entries are available at a higher fee of £45. Postal entries are not accepted; entries are managed online. The closing date to receive a race pack by post is Monday 17 May 2027. Entries received after that date up to 1 June will have race packs available for collection on race day at the information gazebos at Cross Green. Official race t-shirt size preferences can only be guaranteed for registrations received by 17 May 2027.
For safety, head and in-ear headphones are not permitted for runners during the race; bone conduction headphones are allowed as they do not sit in the ear. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Race Details
Date: Tuesday 1 June 2027
Course: Starting in Woodgate, Rothley, the two-lap, 10K (6.2 mile) course heads towards Mountsorrel, through the country lanes before heading back towards Rothley. This is repeated for a second lap.
Donation: Monies will be donated to LOROS (100% of ticket price).
Pricing: Early bird fee: £20.00 (Until Sunday 4 April), after that entry fee: £25.00 (or £45.00 for on the day entries).
Race Pack & T-shirt: Closing date to enter and receive your race pack in the post is Monday 17 May 2027; to allow adequate lead in times for posting out by Royal Mail. Any registrations received after this date and up to the 1 June – final date for all entries, will have their race pack available for collection on race day from one of the info point Gazebos at Cross Green. If you would like an official race t-shirt as you cross the finish line, we can only guarantee size preferences to those that register by 17 May 2027.
Headphones: Head/earphones are not permitted for runners during the race for safety reasons however bone conducting headphones are allowed, as they do not sit in the ears.
